The Double Fire 1 (lali) by erogenesisCGI

Hey boys n girls!

I'll be back shortly to continue & round off the Pool Party series, I was just called in for some renders for a product on Rotica.

In other news, while all the computers were rendering, I fired up my old max machine and dug up this rifle design I began a year ago. I designed it for Lali, since she's a bit small. Also, I added some of my own ideas about weapons. Very theoretical though.

As you can see its a 5.56mm bullpup configuration which places most of the weight near the shoulder, reducing fatigue in the arms. A real time switch mounted on the back of the rifle controls the direction in which the casings are ejected. This switch can be controlled even with the chin of the handler when switching stance. This solves one of the common issues with bullpups.

There are two crazy ideas in this weapon:

1) the integrated secondary weapon (9mm pistol) that can be activated with a switch. The idea is that the shooter does not have to take their aim off the target when switching to their pistol if the primary weapon runs out of ammunition. Theoretically you could keep firing with the pistol setting while reloading the primary weapon.

2) A low mounted digitally enhanced optic system that is brought up to the eye of the shooter through a flip-up periscope. This way the shooter doesn't have to compensate that much for the height of the optics. Also, the foregrip comes with an option to trigger a zoom in the optics. The zoom can assist in refining the sight picture for more accurate shots.

Further ideas include quick interchangeable barrels like with the MG3, converting the rifle from a CQB weapon to a sniper rifle. The powerful digitally enhanced optic system now becomes a long-range telescope. The gun is fully ambidextrous, adjustable stock, picatinny rails for hanging your beercans off it. One option would be a servo-controlled aim assist, that basically shifts a weight around to counter natural shake to refine the aim.

For the rest I'd imagine it has similar specs to the IMI Tavor. Very theoratical though. I need to add a bolt-release to the model and a few other things. The distance between the mags might have to increase. I borrowed the mounted sights from another model.

Anyway, I'll be back tomorrow with more fun! Below you can see some other pistols I was farting around with.

cheers!
